無論是迷人花園，忙碌的超市，還是旋轉木馬，香奈兒時裝秀的舞台總是絢麗的大製做。本次在巴黎大皇宮的香奈兒秀場，展現的則是高級訂製工作室。堆在一角的布匹，縫紉機，落地鏡等，向觀眾展現一件高級訂製禮服是如何製做的。
關於這次發佈會的構想，設計師Karl Lagerfeld這樣講：

秀場上，一側是走秀的模特，而另一側則是忙碌的裁縫。展示的服裝無論是羽毛與山茶花的點綴還是精製的珠片刺繡，都烘托出禮服的立體感。 在時裝秀結束時，設計師Karl Lagerfeld還和裁縫大師們一起謝幕。
