The British luxury watch brand Bremont has recently launched a limited edition watch called Supersonic. Bremont is distinctive as a company because they creatively use metal from historic artifacts like retired planes or ships to make their timepieces. As such, every limited edition watch tells a story.

Bremont’s Supersonic includes metal from the British Airway’s historical supersonic airplane, Concorde Alpha Bravo. Concorde was famous for its unique design and for flying at more than twice the speed of sound. It thus came to represent the extraordinary achievements of British manufacturing. Concorde retired in 2003 and is currently on exhibit at the Intrepid Museum. The new Supersonic watch commemorates the Concorde’s 50th anniversary.

The new Supersonic timepiece not only uses parts of the Concorde aircraft but also reflects elements of the Concorde’s design. There are 300 pieces of the Supersonic watch in stainless steel, 100 in rose gold, and 100 in white gold. Prices start at $12,495.
