The Tall Story bag from Alexander McQueen models a rectangle tote-like carryall that takes inspiration from the contrast of colors. This new addition to the Story collection is designed from burgundy calf leather with clear-cut two-color trim and opens to a spacious interior with an abundance of room to store large or small items as you desire. The Tall Story collection can be styled two ways – over the shoulder using the leather slim straps or carried in hand with a delicate handle. The Alexander McQueen seal also appears on a leather tag.

First walked the Autumn/Winter 2020 runway in new seasonal iterations, the sleek and sculptural leather bag is quickly becoming the accessory to thirst for this season. Officially launched a week ago, the new iteration inherits Alexander McQueen’s Tall Story bag style launched earlier this year in Pre-Spring/Summer 2020. Along with the entire Story bag collection, the Tall Story tote bags found their way into the wardrobes of Luodan Wang.

The Tall Story, both roomy and functional, has been crafted with an executive stylishness in mind. Redesigned with a variety of colors, this statement bag is constructed to fit all carrying essentials without sacrificing its elegance. With plentiful space for a laptop and a front zip pocket to conveniently access small items on the go, it came fresh off the runway and almost instantly becomes a fashion house’s practical obsession.

The latest seasonal iteration spotlights a timeless black tote contrasting red trim. It features the new oversized quilting, achieved through heated molding. The distinctive design takes chromatic cues from the “pieced and patched” aesthetic of Alexander McQueen’s AW 2020 collection. The fashion world is enamored by the sculptural lines consisted of elegant hues of red, damson, and black. What makes it more special is the bag’s seal and modern, metallic handles inspired by jewelry. These handles were designed with a natural curvature so they could be held in hand comfortably. Not to mention, the brass-finished metal handles allow versatility when it comes to pairing it with different styles of outfits.
