Stickley produces more than 90 percent of its furniture in the United States. Its legacy traces back to Gustav Stickley, the celebrated designer and key figure of the American Arts and Crafts movement, and his brother Leopold Stickley, who was honored as the “Revered Dean of Cabinet Makers.” The company was acquired in 1974 by the Audi family, longtime Manhattan distributors of Stickley furniture, and has upheld its American design heritage and dedication to fine woodworking.

Founded in 1850, Bates Manufacturing Company grew into one of New England’s largest textile mills.
